About
Electra Trading & Brands is the division that imports and distributes leading electrical appliance brands in Israel, including Sauter, MIELE, Liebherr, Philips, TCL, and more. The company offers a wide range of home and kitchen electrical appliances—from ovens and cooktops to toasters and personal care products such as shavers and epilators. As part of our collaboration with Electra, we developed a secure employee website, providing a unique technological solution tailored to the company's needs and employees.
Challenges
This project required us to tackle the unique challenge of creating a closed and secure platform that serves only Electra employees while maintaining a high user experience and ease of operation. We needed to develop a login system that included eligibility verification based on an employee's ID number while ensuring access to exclusive cost-price promotions. Additionally, the store interface had to be adapted to display dual pricing (regular and discounted for employees) and an intuitive and visually appealing design aligned with Electra’s brand values.
Solutions
Secure Registration and Login System
We developed a dedicated landing page where employees enter their ID numbers. The system verifies eligibility against the company’s database, and if approved, the employee is automatically registered and granted access via OTP (one-time password).
Employee-Specific Pricing
A dual-pricing system was implemented, displaying both the regular price and a special discounted price for employees on each product page. Twice a year, employees gain access to exclusive promotions, allowing them to purchase home appliances, kitchen gadgets, and personal care products at cost price.
Smart Installation Button
For selected products, we added a smart installation button, simplifying the installation request process and ensuring a smoother user experience.
User-Friendly Management Interface
The admin panel was designed to allow the site’s management team to easily handle products, pricing, and promotions while maintaining complete transparency in operations.
Results
The new Electra employee website delivers a unique and advanced technological solution. This project represents a significant improvement in the user experience. The store is accessible, prices are displayed clearly, and site management is simpler and more efficient.
Furthermore, the project laid the technological foundation for the future development of a dedicated platform for employee unions, which will offer customized promotions, exclusive pricing, and personalized design for each union.
